Read the thread titled "Deatschwerks Injectors" on page 2 of the forum listings. It will provide you more info than your conversation with the 'blond' receptionist.

No such thing as "rebuild" them....only a cleaning is possible, and most likely NOT needed- run a bottle of Redline SI-1 through the tank and call it a day. My injectors have 253,000 miles on them, the last 6 or so years run on ethanol fuel exclusively and they operate just fine....never have had any injector servicing whatsoever other than the occasional SI-1 thrown in fuel tank.Dont fix what is not broken, it can lead to much bigger problems, just ask my buddy Brian.

Yeah if they all ohm good, just run them until something happens.. Usually what I do when Im changing the oil is check minor things like other fluids, and I usually ohm the injectors.. Takes 2 minutes and sometimes you can "see stuff coming"

Make sure your hoses are in good shape so WHEN (not IF) you have to take the plenum off to replace one or more it will be easy... Its a lot easier to do hose related stuff while the engine is not in the car... The thing of it is it might be a month that one goes, or a year...

Deatschwerks is the #1 nissan injector people, and they dont even deal with the phase I injectors AT ALL anymore... Guess that goes to show you how they just dont hold up anymore... :(

I do not think 25 months, or "more than twice warranty" is anything to brag or be all excited about........now if you get 10+ years 150,000+ miles out of them, maybe. If my factory originals can still be working at 253,000 miles with the last 125,000+++ miles using ethanol fuel, why shouldnt one expect the same out of any replacements also??????

What one wants and what one gets are often at odds with each other.

As far as I know no one gives more than 12k or 12 months warranty on any replacement part.

AS far an injector replacement Mar 2008 was our first so I should have said 28 months for some. Only previous injectors in ATL/GA were from overheats where the KS was melted to two blobs or the vehicles came from out of state for repairs or relocations.......we replaced injectors but most engines failed shortly due to overheat internal damage.

You'll probably hear me cry in a few years if mine go but so far only 4 [brand new] have been installed..........have 3 spare half rails [12 used] waiting in wings.

I have never sold any of my personal stash in 20 years and won't start now. Too much hassle plus they are worth to me as much as brand new oem with orings and labor.

I always recommend that everyone maintain a full set 100% of spares whether new or used.

What questions did you ask her that she didn't offer a satisfactory response?

We can service your injectors, this process will include: coil testing, sonic cleaning, new seals, o-rings, filters, and a post-service flow test.

Now, do you need to do this? It wouldn't hurt. Those injectors/seals haven't seen pressure in almost 8 years it is possible the seals could be dried out to the point they may not seal.

We also have our new Phase II 370cc OEM size replacement injectors featured in a NICOclub Buy right now for those of you that might want to pick up a replacement or back-up set while we have them at special pricing and free shipping.
