So i just got the time to finally install the T25 on my KA24de and i have a question. Before hand i had already put on 370cc injecors and a walbro pump. After i got the turbo on i was going to put an FMU to help out with fuel. Well my question is i am already runnin reall rich as it is. My wideband shows around 9.2-9.8 when im boosting like 1 lb just driving normally and it starts to cut out. When im actually in it at 6 lbs my a/f is around 10.7-11.5 which i think is fine so i dont think i need the fmu. A really good mechanic i know said i should put the old injectors back in so that it runs good while driving and then install the fmu so that it compensates fuel for the boost. What do you guys think because i know that everyone says that injectors are a must but for some reason im runnin way to rich with them/

are you tuned at all?

you probably know- 370cc's need tuning or they'll run way rich cruisin, but stock injectors with a FMU will work without tuning if you retard the dizzy a couple degrees.

so if you're not "tuned" go stock injectors + fmu

if you are tuned for 370's, you dont need the fmu on a t25

hope this helps

BAD NEWS!!!! oh by the way that helped out a lot! when i boosted my last KA i didnt do a damn thing to the motor. long story short compresion test says no good with 150 150 0 150. So i actually did some research and did the 370's thinking it was smart. anyway so i took your advice and went to put the stock 270's in. well after i was done my motor wouldnt crank.. it was cranking fine earlier and i tried to jump it. The all of a sudden my buddy says WHOA WHOA WHOA. and im like wtf??? He says dude you got gas shooting from orphases it shouldn't be! and im like wtf?? so i pull the brake booser vacuum line on the mani and it was a valcano of gas poring out of my s**t. like $20 probably... after doin some looking we found that the O rings on the injectors were no bueno and i guess just spit my whole damn gas tank into my motor. so did a oil change.. that was very messy and more gas then oil... did a compression test which hopefully wasnt accurate because it was a lil low and the motor is cold and i think i will just put the 370's back in and do a tune.. where is a good place to get the tune done???

thanks for you help again!!

OUT WITH THE FMU I SAY!

with enthalpy, just email him your ecu and he'll send it back plug and play.

with emance, you recieve the chip, and need to have it soldered in, by a tv repair shop if you can't do it your self. it'll cost $20-30. OR send emance your ecu and have him install it for whatever he charges.
