Im tryin to diagnose a problem that i have, so I swapped out my Ecu with my backup.

while doing that i noticed one wire coming off the ecu is not hooked up to anything. according to the ECU pin out diagram its number 17, Injector Pulse duty output.

does anyone know where this goes? thanks.

also, is there any difference, other then the programming, between the non-turbo ecu's( like 64 ) and the turbo ones( like 98 )?

that's the output for the diagnostics, and I think the UKDM cars use it for a fuel milage gauge as well.

IIRC, they should be pretty close. The only thing I can think of would be the boost control solenoid. I think on the DE's it's used as a hot start fuel enrichement thing instead.
