I am looking for some info about stock Sr injectors. My injectors are purple with a green dot which I know are stock injectors, but the shop that my car is at is telling me differently. I talked to my local SR guru and he also says they are stock, as he saw them when he did my wiring. The problem my car is having is that it is running very very rich. The shop beleives that it is due to the big aftermarket injectors that they beleive I have installed. Is there anyway that they are some other stock nissan injector, maybe off a Skyline or soemthing? I dont have the part number that is on them, but I am going to get it tomorrow. Should there be any other major distinctions on the injectors? The shop put in a SAFC I and ran it as lean as they could (30% I beleive) but it was still running rich. They told me to buy a SAFC II as it can turn it down 50% which should be enough to compensate for the "huge" injectors that I apparantly have. They thought the injectors were in the 680cc range, and they didnt think there was any way they were 370cc. I would like to hear your opinions.

Check the injector o-rings - if they are leaking it will run very rich. Pull the fuel rail with injectors and turn on the key, check for leaking.

Also make sure timing is set exactly right.

Purple injectors are 370cc, if the harness plugs look stock they are almost certainly 370cc.

Maybe your O2 sensor isnt working, or isnt powered properly.

The number on the injectors is 2E501425 which isnt a Nissan part number (apparantly the part #'s arent stamped on injectors anyway and this is just that manufacturer number). I called a place that had some stock Redtop injectors for sale and the couldnt find any number on them except 265. Does anybody know what these numbers mean, and what number stock injectors should have?
