I just checked the resistance of my injectors. It was about 18.5 on each. now my problem is the FSM states that they should be approximately 10-15 ohms in resistance. I was wondering what could cause this and if this means i need to replace my injectors.Also I am runninmg rich and cannot pass smog at idle, would this also cause this problem.

Thanks.

(i have a 89 240sx}

That resistance is fairly close and since they are all the same its fine. The resistance will have nothing to do with pulse width so, dont worry about that.

A couple of things to checkFPR may not be working.Vacume leek in the lines that feed the FPRweird aftermarket air filter causeing uneven flow through the MAFbad MAF check output voltage with the key on

If all else fails I have a bunch od DE injectors

well you will need to get a gauge and hook it into the line somwhere. You should see 43 PSI with the FPR unhooked I think or is it 41.3. I need the FSM.

I plan on using an oil pressure gauge to watch my fuel pressures.

Sorry if I cant be more helpfull but im just trying to give you ideas on what might be wrong.

On my S13 engine the vacume line that feeds the FPR had dry rotted and was leeking and that was causing higher fuel pressures.
