Hello, My name is Richard. I have been rebuilding my 1990 300zx (na) for 10 years now. I have compleatly gone through everything and now i am just connecting my wiring harness and i have bought the new style of injectors fro Z1. They provided some instructions however they did not include cutting the old connectors off the wiring harness and splicing the new connectors into the old wiring harness. My question is.

1. Is there a negitive and positive side to the injectors?

2. whats the best way to tell. I dont want to get these wires on wronge

thank u in advance. I have been looking everywere on the net but cant seem to find a thing.

Welcome to Nicoclub!

There is no positive and negative. You definitely want to solder and heat shrink the connections. When I cut mine on my old harness, there was a fat wire and a skinny wire on the old harness. I just kept them the same going on to the new pigtails to ease my OCD mind :chuckle:

It's just a pulse signal through a solenoid, so direction of the signal doesn't matter.

Get that thing on the road already!! :dblthumb:

Thank u bigtdogg. That is good to know. The big wire and small wire was the part that confused me. I know i cant wait to have it back on the road. I have totally restored her. She has been my dream car since i was sixteen. But she is now really close and completely clean now. Again thanks for the answer.
