Injector clips

I want to replace the clips on top of the injectors, but i'm not sure where i can find them. I also need one for my coolant temperature sensor. does anyone know if i can get these without goin to the dealer?

Go to a pick a part or a local junk yard and pick them up off a crashed car.

but if you do the junkyard there's still the chance they'll be in worse condition than what you have.

that's why you go to the yard and just pull em and make a quick pop into your pocket while you grab another part. Ha ha ha. I do that all the time with bolts and clips and belt clamps. Ha ha ha. Then when you get home, you compare and use the one's that are in better shape. Otherwise you could always go to a local parts store and pick them up.

My friend is having the same problem, He went to a nissan dealer and they quoted him $30.00 for all new clips, This could be a better solution than theft.... Its up to you.

I'll probably go with payin 30 bux for new ones. I'm sending my car to the dealer soon to get the timing chain done.

nah usually the yards i go to wouldn't care about stuff like that. Most of the yards I go to know me pretty well and know that what I do take are small things they'd give to you if you asked granted you pick up another part that they would normally charge you for. I guess that's really up to you. Btw Nitrus if you want a sohc timing chain, i've a new genuine nissan sohc timing chain kit that I picked up from courtesy parts but I need to sell for school.
