After I finished doing my thermostat and fuel filter i was letting the engine idle and warm up and checking for leaks. I noticed I could hear the injectors clicking is this normal?

i believe so. there's even a test you can do with the crank angle sensor that when turned you can hear each injector 'click' or activate.
