I did the BG injector cleaning last saturday and had a bit of a disaster. When the cleaner reservoir was approaching empty the engine started knocking and rocking so hard it broke the motor mounts, set the knock sensor code, and dinged the intake manifold against the strut bar. Purely my fault. I was too far away to shut the engine down in time. A simple $100 service leads to much more work.

(I'm trying to convince myself that the mortor mounts were due anyway.)

Part of the exercising [deep muscle massage] of the engine, must have happened to mine half a dozen times in the past 6 years since I changed the motor mounts the last time.

You usually stand by to swirl the tank to get the last bit out, then remove the air and let the rail residue flow back in the lowered tank. So you don't get splashed when you remove the system.

You stand by to swirl the tank. I'm on the other side of the garage with a Beck and hot wings. The guys with me got quite a kick out of watching the engine trying to crawl out of the car.
