Is injector cleaner bad for the injectors on the 300zx na or tt 1990? Are there any additives that are good for the car like fuel system cleaner or octane booster?

I can say Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus is good stuff. Used it and the car runs smoother. But the previous owner of my car used regular gas all the time and rarely did any maintenance.. Also if you search there are many topics/posts related to injector and fuel system cleaners in the Z32 (how I got the answers to all my questions), here in this forum and others.
