You're not gonna be getting 400hp with 550cc injectors unless you crank your fuel pressure waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy up which is not a safe thing to do. get yourself a set of 600+cc injectors if this is really a goal you've set for yourself. As for an alternator, be prepared to pay $50-$100 for a good working one. Some say they have used the nissan pulsar's alternator, but I personally cannot confirm this. If you can't find an alternator, let me know and I'll sell you one off an engine set in my garage that's going into my S13 coupe to be sold.

I've also heard the you can use the sohc ka alt. You just have to modify the bracket.

im using sohc ka alt but i had to modify the bracket a bit. im happy did it because I did have a ca alt but it messed up and didn't want to have to hunt for another one. now, if my ka one messes up it's easy to get another one.

... Or you could always look for a shop that can rebuild starters and alternators. Thats what im going to do once the time comes. Check your local Yellow Pages. No fuss, no muss!

I tried to fit the pulsar alternator once but the top bracket was way off. if it was like 12 inches long it would have fit.

Does any one have decent picture of modifying the bracket for the sohc ka alternator?
