How do you tell if you have a bad injecter? I am failing my emissions inspection and I need to try to find out why. Car runs smooth as silk, but I am just going over anything I can think of. No codes have been thrown. Is there w way to check them with a electronic meter or something?

well, if you have a bad injector then your car won't run as smooth as silk. Idle will be rough.

Check the resistance -should be about 11 ohms as per the FSM - I thought my car ran ok but replaced a bad injector that measured 0-250 ohms and now the "hesitation when hot" condition is resolved. It idled fine and even sounded like the others but definitely runs better now.

I just replaced the front injector. The "hot hesitation" is gone. My vert idled rough when it warmed up, but it is smooth as silk now. It seems that I got quite a bit of power back. This is my first vert and 240sx, so I didn't have a reference for how it was supposed to run. It didn't run bad, but now it is so much better. :woot:
