initial D engine? only 100 made? what's this?

I came across this sr20det engine so called "JDM NISSAN 180SX INITIAL D BUILT MOTOR" on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...stingDoes any one know what this is? they actually made such an engine? or is this the limited production Sil80 engine?

It's a NAPA SR20DET!!!

Ehh... SR20DET is a Nissan engine, so even if it was an 'Initial D' engine it would just be a Nissan SR20DET w/ mods...

It's probably just a motor rebuilt by initial d?? Either way, it's got a Napa logo on it, steer clear my friend!

I thought there was a big thread about the whole sil80 thing.. it's not really a car, and if it was, it's still a Nissan engine..

right? maybe? don't know. i just work here.

nope...there actually were real sileighty's made. i've got a few pictures of one, including the rear tail-piece that actually says sileighty instead of 180sx or silvia.
