Just wondering if theres an another name for the Initial D game in US? Coz I went to the local pool hall and saw a game that looks like Initial D the cartoon, had silvias, AE86, skyline, evo and other cars and the shifter was on the left hand. I cant really remember the name of the game but it was Battle something ~_~

O_O the one that I played had all the drift cars and the most l33t drift out of all, the Integra Type R!!!well anyways, They let u drift and such in that game, but kinda in a funny way, all u have to do is brake then gas right away, and cut the wheel, and counter steering wheel. So... is this game Initial D? or just some copy cat of it.

Im not sure, i havnt played much of the games very much. And the only initial D battle stage i can think of was the music video/movie type thing. Also, the arcade game usually has cards that you keep with what you win(unlockables and whatnot). But other then that im not sure, but I think theres a good chance that it is.

was it all on an interstate? if so it's probably Wangan Midnight, they're similar in play...by no means Ferrari 355 Challenge though, hands down best arcade racer ever!

no it was in the mountain roads, and it didnt have any place to put the card in or anything. But the shifter wasnt a normal one either, u can only push up to shift up and push it down to shift down....

that's how initial d is too, I'm sure it's had copies anyway, it was a successful game so copycats are sure to ensue, can't say I know what game it is though.
