it's hard finding good sites that talk about initial d. they're all in japanese. i've been wondering some things though lately. i'm a big fan, but i don't know some things. so how long ago did initial d air in japan? and why did they quit making it? are they going to make future shows, for instance, when they bring it to america? i have other questions, but let's get these understood first.

It originally aired sometime between '93 and '95 not sure on exactly when though.

I first saw the series back in spring of 2000 and have seen the whole thing at least 5 or 6 times since then. They quit making it because the series ended :) It isn't like Ranma 1/2 where they have hundreds of episodes, it is more like "Those Who Hunt Elves" or "El Hazzard" No they are not going to make any more shows as it has been completely finished for some time now. If you have any more q's just ask

Inishale? What was the point of uselessly butchering the spelling of the word? You spelled it right in the post . . .

I'm confused.

Nick.

i don't know, i just always have that in my head. that's how they say it when they go to a commercial break. the japanese guys say it funny, and that's how it sounds.

Go here, lots of good info

and it is one of those series that you have to watch entirely because like stated before, its not like DBZ where you can miss a weeks worth and still know whats going on.

yea i know. when i first started watching it, i started on episode 11 or something. i had no idea what was going on, but i got to see a cool race. i watched it a little backwards at first, which messed me up. after i watched 11, i downloaded 12+13, then i downloaded 1,2,3. it got all crazy.
