Fuses rae placed in electrical circuits to protect the electronics in the circuit from escessive current. Current doesn't just kill people, it kills electronics too. The fuse ratings are the max safe current for the devices on that circuit, by jumpering the connection you could have very well fried some expensive stuff. The first thing you need to do is find out why you are blowing fuses. If you had done this in the first place you may have saved yourself some trouble. FORTUNATELY for you, the ignition circuit doesn't have many vulnerable components, get yourself a schematic of the ignition circuit, a multimeter (or cheap as circuit tester) multimeter is better because you can check resistance. R=E/I R= Resistance, E= Voltage, I=Current. This is the basis of electricity. Here is one other useful formula: P=IE, P=Power(watts) I=Current, E=Voltage. I hope that you can use this information to fix your ignition circuitry. Good luck, let me know if you need a little help.

oh i know another useful one! P=(I^2)R! twinkle twinkly little star..power equals I squared R! LOL...my physics professor used that jingle. it's corny but works!
