I have an Infinity G37S 2009. Since a couple of weeks the Infotainment system takes about 1 minute to boot up. I see the Infiniti logo on the screen for about 1 minute and all buttons below the CD drive don't respond. It's kind of hot in our area these days but we had similar temperatures other years and I never had this problem. So I am not sure it has to do with heat but I can't exclude it, either. Has anybody seen such behavior, i.e. the infotainment system not coming up for a minute or so? If so, what is the solution?

I finally figured this out after looking doing some more googling. My CF card did go bad and that caused the long bootup time. After removing the CF card the display immediately did show the controls (rather than the infinity logo). Some people also reported the same issue with a bad CD in the CD drive.
