I need information on the 1991 non-tcs, non hicas ecu. I have piniouts already. Does anyone else know anything about this ecu. I'm thinking about fooling around with the internals of it. I'm in an Electronics class in school about fuel injection and computer controlled ignition. Just trying to see what I can come up with. Anyone else tried anything with this ECU before??? It's a longshot but I know it's crossed everyones mind at some point. Thanx for any help in advance. Nate

Member named "aaacomp" (Glenn) has reprogrammed one successfully, as well as one other person (local guy, can't recall his screen name)...

in order to fool around with the eprom, you need to know the address locations of the values.

if someone decodes the locations of the fuel map, the ignition map, the VQ map, and the injector constant, then you can program your own ecu.

if there was an address table available, then you would be able to tune the rom with romeditor.

cool. I'll keep posted on what I find out about the abilities of this ecu. I'm about to spend 2 weeks studying it hardcore in school
