I actually agree with Ghast, I would take that over the one you are buying/bought. Atleast it looks better taken care of besides the quarter panel. The fact that you are spending $3000 and saying you dont need it so you're going to spend it on something dumb is going to hurt you in the long run when problems arise.

If you haven't bought it, keep looking. If you have good luck.

This is good. Does the car come with a sunroof and 5lug?

The car is not worth 3500 - More like 2500.

Listen to this. If you live in an Emissions county, it is harder for you to turbo the KA and it still apss emissions. Now on a OBDI car, it's way easy to turbo and pass emissions, making an obdI worth more to everyone because they can turbo it and get away with it. OBDII is worthless turbo'd if you sell in an emissions county only because it's so hard to pass emissions after that

Now - For 3500 dollars... You can get an older model 240 with a SR with low miles and fair miles on the chassis. pretty much what you're looking at on that chassis.

Shop around bro - don't jump on anything that comes up at first sight. I lost a 96 with 217k in May of this year. Bought a beater 240, and waited to find another S14 - Got a 95(sunroof, 5lug)with 86,800 original miles on it, fresh paint and some other goodies.

I waited. I was making that point to tell you to wait.
i disagree with about half of what you said, but im too busy to fight about it right now

that 4400$ car is DEFINATELY a 96 not 95 as listed. mediterranian blue was only offered in 96, has the 96 grill, and the interior is that of a base 96. if i can take the 96 for 3500 ish i would rather do that than buy the POS you first posted for 3k.

I can only imagine how hard that poor zenki has been beaten on. Just the right mods to make it "driftable."

Geeee whiz, I wonder why the bumper and hood aren't the originals?

the hood and the bumper are the original the hood just has the clear coat already fading. The roled fenders are like that the previous owner befor my friend oscar was justing he got some rims that rubbed the bumper was backed in by a toyota camry so justin replaced that and now its oscarsx240sx the car was not beaten badly just some sliding on wet roads during rainy days dont lie all of you guys have done that. haha.

Well I will be picking it up saturday or earlier and will do the fenders asap and the hood.

Don't let the haters get to you. Not saying you are since you're doing quite the opposite, but yeah, just stick with what you want to do with that car and do it with a smile on your face. It's your car and if you know what you want to do and you're happy with that, there's nothing else you should do.

I'm surprised everyone is hating on the car and the deal but I think it's pretty good, not a bad deal. Just take care of the paint and it'll look pretty good. I hate that steering wheel but it's not my car so whatever you like. And personally I would keep the Zenki lights since I prefer them over Koukis.

Yeah thanks I was going with that deal anyways and yup thats all I care about I like the 240 and its my money. I kno I will be happy with this car and the many things I will do to it. Thanks Conquerer you gave me more confident into buying this car completely so yeah im going with this car. Maybe I will get attached to the zenki front end if I find a way to make it look aggresive.

yes like you said it's your money which is cool. we were just trying to sway you into making a decision that seemed to be better. but it still seems to me that you are making yourself believe the car is better than what it seems because you are so attached to it for some reason, and that is usually the last thing you want to do when buying a car...

Well, if you want the aggressive look you could go the eyelid route (check out some examples with the search button), although some may say it gives it a more lazy look.

Then again you already have the Kouki fenders so do what you want to do yourself. I know you don't have the other parts yet, but you could just keep it the way it is for a bit and see how you like it. If time goes by and you're still really feeling the Kouki front end then I guess that's what you should go with, but hey, who knows how you'll feel about the Zenki lights once you have them on there for a while.

I've always liked the Zenki lights a lot more than the Koukis but my car has Zenkis so maybe I just grew to like them more. Then again right from the beginning I loved the lights (when searching for a 240) and thinking back to seeing some Koukis (eg: in the Fast and the Furious) I didn't like the lights that much.

I've really grown to like the Zenki tails more as well, believe it or not. After I got my car I saw a bunch of Kouki tail conversions and thought it was something to consider, but right now I love my Zenki tail lights. I guess that shows it really can grow on you over time.

Ah, and of course thoughts may change the other way -- an example of this was my grill. I saw some different grills, including the JDM Silvia grill (with the "Silvia" taken off) and thought to myself, why would you replace it with that grill? I liked the stock grill as is. However, now I don't like the front grill and think it looks way too plain and I'm definitely going to change it eventually.

Only time will tell.
