Yup, they do. I have a Infinity Perfect 12" in a 1.75 cu. ft. ported box with 600 watts RMS going to it and it thumps hard.

They may be a little more expensive, but if you have the power to push to it, you can't go wrong.

actually infinitiy's have gone way down in price as of late. they are decent woofers, if your looking for sq. If you want pounding base, its not the way to go.

Infiniti's are great efficent speakers, and they have a great range of sound too! If you can find them for a decent price, you wouldn't be disappointed.

I had an Infiniti Kappa Perfect 12.1 and it sounded ok with 300 watts running to it. The newer Kappa Perfect series are very tempermental though. Their RMS rating is only 350watts....and shouldn't be powered with more than that or the adhesive between the voice-coil and the spider breaks up. Personally I think my Pioneer Premere 12" sub sounds alot cleaner and has a hell of alot more output than the Infinity one ever did. I'd say save your dough and get something better within the $150-$200 price range. Alpine Type-R subs are good, the whole line of Elemental Designs are good, Adire Audio, Dayton Sound DSQ series, Pioneer Premere.....all better subs than the Kappa Perfects. Whatever you do, don't get Sony subs. The sound quality is horrible and they don't get loud at all. Xplode....quite possibly the most aptly named product line in the car audio industry. :)

the epoxy resin adhesive problem has been fixed, but it used to be a problem. i recommend the kappa perfect to anybody looking for a great all around sub. they handle a lot of power, and sound great in the proper enclosure. I disagree about the Alpine Type-R subs being better than the Kappa Perfects, I have put these head to head and the Alpines have been beaten in sound tests and on the spl meter. i do agree with jefftrexler about the sony subs... they are just not a good investment.
