Infinity Warranty

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

...this is from the 2008 Infiniti warranty bookle

As a condition of this warranty, you are responsiblefor properly using, maintaining and caring for yourvehicle as outlined in your Owner’s Manual, and ofmaintaining copies of all maintenance records &receipts for review by Nissan.

Failure to do so islikely to result in the denial of warranty.

Evidence of the performance of the required maintenanceshould be kept and may need to be presentedas proof of such maintenance in connectionwith related warranty repairs. To assist you in maintainingappropriate records, the Maintenance Loglocated in your Owner’s Literature Kit can be usedalong with supporting repair invoices, receipts andother such records.

Does one need to take a vehicle to a Infiniti stealer to perform maintenance in order to stay under warranty coverage? Or just show reciepts for parts purchased to perform the interval maintenance?

Just show receipts and mileage you will be fine, even take pictures of the odometer if you are that worried. My cars where still covered on dealer warranty when I showed receipts and invoices from my mechanic shop, even when I took my car in for a warranty repair. I never had an issue.

Hope this helps.
