I can't believe I too have been living with this condition wherein the driver's side window comes down 4 inches after having been put up. Now I find info on how to fix that. However, perhaps because I waited so long, something has occurred that I wish to ask the forum before I attempt to reset the window. All the windows now do not come down?! In addition, the armrest locking mechanism for the 4 doors does not function. THe only way I am able to lock the doors are with the fob that is connected to the key. So the locking mechanism switch doesn't work, and yes I've tried to press the lock door button in the off and on mode and it makes no difference. And the windows do not go down or up. The roof window works fine. Any feedback as to the sequence of attack I should take to remedy this? This has been and continues to be a great car. I've got 185K on it and it still looks and runs well. Please advise...thanks, Redstone

Sounds like your master power window switch is malfunctioning, given that none of the window switches and the lock/unlock switch doesn't work. Do any of the other window switches work on their respective doors?

Try resetting the window limiter switch. While you have the door panel off, ensure that the wiring harnesses for the master power window switch are plugged in completely and there is no damage to the wiring.
