Infinity Qx4 Vs. Mitsubishi Pajero/montero

dear members,

I recently bought a '01 Infinity QX4 with low miles 13k only and in super condition, I needed an suv badly here as roads are lousy and lots of climbing&descending.

I have got mixed opinions regarding the QX4's off road capability, I hope I havent put $ 34,000 down the drain!! There are lots of suv out there that claim superior off road prowes,the Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero is an example, I welcome any expert view as to the QX4 vs. Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero. thanks

Hmmmm.

Well, the QX4 is certainly the more durable and reliable of the two. Probably not as adept and handling rough terrain as the Montero, but it's based on the Pathfinder - So any reviews you can find on the Pathfinder will be good reading.

I think the QX4 has moer power than the Montero, but I'm not certain what drivetrains are offered in the middle east.

At least your car is better LOOKING than the Montero!

I think racing in Lebanon is the best. My cousin took me on a spirited drive through some twisties. They have excellent up/down hill passes..

This guys got one nasty Benz, went for a ride in a 93 500e that is sick, bilstiens, 18 inch AMG wheels, etc, relly nice car.

Actually the QX4 is known for good off road prowess compared to others in its class, according to at least on car mag.

maybe different tires might be of help?
