I checked an Infinity M35 2007 base rear drive model. It had a gas pedal mounted at the top, with the capability to press at it at different angle, like the old (throttle cable ) pedals - a pivot attached to a lever going up the dash.
I am new to this model but noticed the previous ones I saw had floor mounted pedals attached to a hinge at the bottom, so they can take only one angle (when not pressed). I actually drove that car, and this old style pedal is more comfortable to me (allowed to press from the top as opposed only straight) Was it an option, or did the style changed over the years run? There seemed to be no attachment to the floor under the pedal, so it did not look broken, and drove fine.
Thanks a lot!
