I plan on getting some of these is 6 1/2" form for my door speakers. I have heard them and love the sound. I am just wondering what you all think of these speakers and if you have any other recomendations.

They are great speakers. I use Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 components in the front of my car. I really like the Infinity sound. You can't go wrong!

So thats what your Alty looks like with the rims. Much better than those black steelies! And thanks for the info on the Kappa's. I know Infinity makes a quality speaker. It is just good to get reasurance from people who have alot of hands on experience with them.

I will add my .02 that Infinity speakers are excellent. I have owned a set of 3.5's that were in the front of my Buick.

I was debating between the Alpine and Infinity's, but I went with the Alpine's personally. One of the guys at Circuit City said he liked the Infinity's better, but unfortunately all their 6.5"s were blown. I know the Alpine 6x9's sounded better than the Infinity 6x9's... :pface

Bottom line I don't think you could go wrong between Alpine and Infinity. Both are quality brands.
