Infinity J-30 1993 looking for right manifold

Hi everybody i am looking for the right manifold on my j-30, i went to the garage today, ans my engine shaking problem that i am searching for month and month and coast me alot of money was cause by the 2 catalyst was full.

That trouble make the motor came hot and the right manifold break, i change that catalyst but now i need the right manifols i would prefere used but if i dont have choice i will buy it new at the dealer they sale only 2 at a time really expensive.

Does somebody knows some good place to buy that piece on the net

They are actually a shop in Toronto that specializes in 300ZX and J30's (both vehicles have the same engine). Maybe they would know a good place where you can get a used mainfold. Give them a call!

The other place I would try (you can find them in any phone book) is Discount Used Japanese Parts. They are located in Scarborough, Ontario. They are a clearing house for used japanese parts, they often have prices well below what other auto recyclers cost.

As for a source on the internet, other than Ebay (which is hit and miss) try on of the sponsors for this board.

Huh ? Sounds like you have a bad fuel injector (s) or a dead ignition coil(s) causing unburnt fuel to dump into the catylytic converter, thus destroying them..

How is your mechanic diagnosing this ? Sounds a tad bit iffy to me..

Maybe you should get a consult with the local Infiniti or Nissan dealership, before you replace the manifold. Like metaverse3 suggested it might me something else. I have never heard a J30/300zx owner ever replace a manifold on their ride.

thanks for the information i have found one for 200.00and yes i have a bad coil when i put the kick down the motor cut on one cylinder and it is running maybe on 5 cylinder at trottle because the motor is shaking
