Infinity i35 driver seat won't go forward or back.

I have been tapping the forward seat motor, there are 3 motors I am told, to release my stuck motor for two years now. It works but is a pain in the neck. So I found a post on maxima.org/ forums labeled -"fixing dumb seat motor" that gives a step by step repair that should work.the post indicated the contacts are bent and need to be realigned. I found another post that shows part of the seat motor assembly is a plastic gear. Reminds me of the head light plastic gear used by Corvette on my 84 vette that wore out. Any way so many of us have had problems with this issue over the years. I found Advanced Industrial, maker of custom plastic gears , linked to the Nissan gears that have worn out in the seat motor. I am calling them Monday to see if they have these gears available. Their 800 number is 18002657351. I'll post next week and let you know what I find out.
Both of theses posts seem logical. I am going to take on the issue next Wednesday.
