I have always use high performance tires on my car but recently i ve been driving alot more and i would like a tire with a higher tread wear and that would mean me getting a "T" rated tire... but i been hearing alot form people if the car uses a "H" rated tire and if you which to something else it wouldnt handle right..... i just want a tire that will last a long time. Should stick with using the "H" rated tire that has a low tread wear or should i just buy a nice "t" rated tire with a high tread wear?If anyone has any suggestion on what should i buy or a recommendation on a specific tire i should get with a high tread wear.

A "T" rated tire is rated for speeds up to 118 MPH. After that, the tire will start to overheat and desintigrate.

you need to look for a high tread rating. i have falken 245/35/zr19 AA A 360the 360 is the tread rating the higher the better. i have had these tires for over two yrs and still have some life left they are guaranteed for 40,000 miles. thats pretty good for a low profile tire.

I has Yokohama's (UTQG 160AA) all the way around, and the rear tires were gone in 10k miles. I have replaced them with a BFG (UTQG 400AA). Hopefully they will last longer.

As far as H and T and Z ratings, read this: http://forums.g35club.org/zerothread/339161
