I have a question for all....I live in Canada and I want to buy a skyline..I was told by my Infinity dealer that the new Infinity G35 is the newest model of Skyline. Does anybody know if that is true?

(By the way here in Canada you can buy a Skyline almost anywhere-used)

If anybody knows the answer to my questions, please let me know before I purchase. Also, does anybody know if there is a new line of Skyline?

ThanksNika

Ugh, yes the G35 is indeed the Skyline. It's not the GT-R though obviously.

Both are V35 chassis code vehicles. Engine options aren't the same in both Japan and the US ... not sure about Can?

The Skyline 350GT has the VQ35DE, yes.

The Japan-market V35 also gets the VQ30DD and VQ25DD (direct injection versions of the VQ--oh how I wish we got those here!)

Can you swap the top ends off the DD VQs into a VQ35?

Yep. 342 cubic inches.

That's why I want an M so bad. Stroke/bore that beast out to ~6 liters. Do an electronically switchable dual-route exhaust, so you can bypass the mufflers when the cops aren't around. Godly.
