I have warrantybynet.com and am VERY happy with it. Cheaper than the dealer, too.

To VH45DE 8 UR VTEC: I see you have warrantybynet. I have checked into them but wasn't sure if they were lagit or not. It is good to hear from somebody that has them. Have you needed the warranty for anything?? If so were there any problems getting your $$$? Thanks Wayne

Wayne - I've had my Q for 14 months. $1600 bought me 4yrs OR 30K in protection. Pre-coverage inspection was done at PepBoys (made sure I was friendly with the "tech" and hooked him with a $50). Clean bill of health.

So far, I've had $4400 in repairs done. I chose the $50 deductible option (cost an extra $100), and I've had her in 4 times, for a total outlay of $1850. A LOT less than $4400, and the peace of mind is great to have.

There's no "getting your money" involved - You go to the dealer, they find something wrong (they always do), they fix it, warranty company pays the bill minus deductible. Sweet.

Let me know if you decide to go with them and I'll split the referral $ with you!

The dealer extended warranty price is negotiable.... just have to haggle!

The dealer just sells and administers another company's policy and makes a profit at the point of sale regardless of the work done in the future. There's probably $500 of "wiggle room" in the price.
