through my travels at work i see alot of cars. i saw one the other day that caught my eye. at first glance i thought it was an early 90's 240sx drop top. but to my surprise it had Infinity badges on the rims and grill. i couldnt see the back to get a model number though. it appeared to be all factory and not somebody's back yard creation. so does anybody know what the car is that i saw? does the early 90 240sx have an Infinity twin?

Yep, only drop top Infiniti (til the new G).

Still like the M30s, would just want an engine swap/improvement. Looked at a few before I found my 240 Vert. But all the ones in good shape were rediculously high priced.

For reference:

Yep, Infiniti M30. I had one before my vert. 3.0 V6, only 162hp for a heavy car. Still it was fun to drive and felt very refined. I had mine for 6 years before I sold it.

The good news is that the 3.0 is the VG and the Z31 turbo swap is fairly simple from what I've read/heard. And then with that much room in the engine bay the Z32 TT and RB series swaps are possible.

But yes, the lack of power, money, and heard some things about problems with their tops kept me away from them, especially already knowing about 240s.

no problem with that in this S13 though...

i like the looks of that m30, but I've got a silvia front end and it looks similar to that car, mine just looks smaller and like it would be a lot lighter...

s13 ftw.

M30 vert has better quarter window mechanism.

Edit: Yes, I saw Three Kings and it was funny. They were arguing about M30 being an only vert from Infiniti or not.

Anybody seen the movie Three Kings? There's a running joke in there about this car.

My father drove an M30 coupe, not the convertible, for many years. Funnily enough, he only stopped driving it when I gave him my S13 vert.
