im intersted in gettin a powered subwoofer and what i found was the infinity basslink. im interested in the basslink 2.

i have a couple questions...

whats the difference between the two products. is it only the obvious part of the 200 to 250 watts?

what would be the best place and way to mount this standing up or laying down. and in the back corner of the trunk or up in front by the rear seat?

my guess i wouldnt need anything bigger than a 8g wire kit and a 60amp fuse should be enough for the setups.

I have one installed in one of my cars. I have it mounted upright and connected via RCA inputs instead of the line levels which I found to be marginal at best. I suggest that you try it both ways and go with whatever works best for you. In my case this and the aftermarket amps (2-5 channels) installed after it take up such a good deal of trunk space that mounted upright is a good thing and I find it sounds decent enough that way in any case. I found it sensitive to apparant eddy currents as well interfence from cell phones when acquisition of network takes place. Conductors leading to the basslink needs to be paid attention to as well as proper grounding practices (which should be the case anyway).
