Hello everybody. This is my first post and possibly not the right forum, but I'm a newbie and hope your forgive me if I'm in the wrong area.

I am looking at a 2011 Infinity (above description) to purcahse from dealer. I drove the car once and to be honest, didn't feel totally comfortable seeing out the back. I can only best describe this as a *blind spot* when switching lane and merging on and off highways. Has anyone else had any similiar issues???

I am interested to hear any comments you are willing to share with me.

Thanks so much.

Best,
Eileen

Welcome to NICO.
You drove a fantastic automobile that I'd like to own myself one day.
I'm not positive, but some M models do come with back up cameras and lane departure warning technology. Coupled with your mirrors and awareness, I'd guess that its something to get accustomed to.

Eileen,

first off welcome to the M forums!! there is a wealth of knowledge here...i have an 06 M and have a similar issue with the blind spots but after owning my car for almost 2 years i hardly notice them any more...if you pay attention to your surroundings like a good driver should...you should have no issues....and as previously stated by frapjap most if not all of the M's come with a backup camera so getting out of a parking spot or out of your drive way is rarely an issue!! again welcome to the M forums and hope you purchase the M soon...

Welcome Eileen, pleasure to have you join us. It's safe to say that every car has at least one blind spot and it's also safe to say that you will adjust to your new ones with this car as well. Rest assured that if you haven't owned an M before, you're about to be quite pleasantly surprised and fall in love with yours as we have fallen for ours.
Personally, I have learned a great deal from everyone in here. Between the members and moderators here, there is a true wealth of knowledge to help you with any questions you have.
Best wishes on your new M !
