Do you think it would be easier to swap in a VG30DETT or a VH45DE into my '93 J30/Leopard JPY32?? I was leaning towards the VH since a variant of the engine (4.1, though) came in the JDM Leopard. I was assuming this would be easier to mount up. Plus, the weight difference between the DETT and VH are very, very minimal. I'm going for smooth power and a smooth (as easy as possible, that is) swap into this chassis.

Ive seen a tt engine swapped into a J30, so id assume that would be easist... Should require limited custom fabricaiton..

I concur with Wes.

For a little more radical project, skip the VH45 and consider the VH41DE, standard engine in 97-01 Q45's and the Leopard J. Easier fit than the 4.5, which is wider.
