Let me just say that I do not regretting my decision to get the vehicle I have. It is truly the car I have wanted for a long time. My issue is, now that the deal is done, I am seeing where I paid a considerable amount more than I should have, and this is a hard pill to swallow. Of course dealerships want you to rate them well on the surveys, and the finance manager jokingly hinted that I might receive some sugar in my fuel tank when I get my vehicle serviced if they do not get rated well on the survey. I want to take the survey honestly and share my experience with Infiniti, but I do not want the survey shared with the local dealer and for them to know it was me who trashed them, and then be treated like an A-hole every time I go in for service or whatever. Of course it says right at the bottom that it would be shared with them, so I am not sure how I should proceed. Should I call the infiniti consumer affairs number and share my concerns with them? What would you do?

Filling out the survey is better than calling consumer affairs as they won't do anything except give you lip service. By filling out survey you have documented your concern and why will you be affraid to do survey, even if they find out who you are, you might get better treatment. Risk has it's rewards. IMHO

^ This. But if you do go thru with it and mention the tasteless-joke-which-could-be-a-threat, might be wise to have your service done elsewhere, as those surveys are not usually anonymous.

In today's dealers, service department employees get held hostage by manufactures on survey results. I have seen people lose jobs, miss bonuses among other things. Many times its not the advisor or salespersons fault, but they can take a serious hit on survey scores. You can comment all you want without hurting the employees, but when you score anything other than a 10 or Truly exceptional it can devastate an advisor or sales person. It's rigged, I dont agree with it, but all manufactures are having to deal with it. Surveys has dealers chasing number now and not the customer. Sad if you ask me!

Some sugar in your tank?
Tell him you'll put some pen15 in his butthole if he says that ever again.
