Hehe, not really, but it got your attention.
I'll be getting a demo pretty soon at the dealership where I'm a finance manager. My question is, which vehicle should I pick for a demo? Why?Which Caddy?
it has the first longitudal northstar, which is supposed to be a super tough motor. I can't remeber if the version in that one puts out more than 300, but I'm thinking it's in the upper 300's for some reason, doesnt have a manual transmission though, which makes it crappy in my book...I likes my manuals

Did you see the road test of that thing at Willow Springs? WOW.
Saw it last night. Kendall was throwing that SRX around like a sport sedan. I didn't see any 1/4 times, did they say what they were? I'm guessing low 15's.
that's where the CTS comes in, it's the euro trash caddy, 5 speed 200+ horse power RWD drive fun, and it looks kinda like a stealth b0mber, I like it better than the Catera for the simple fact that it has more power and a manual, I personally like the look better but that's just me.
I'm just saying even though it's not a German car, you should still wear a ponytail, goofy suit and put in the annoying techno and go flog the car on some curvy roads then give us all an opinion on whether or not the car sucks.
Or get the Escalade and throw some big rapper style parties or cart you posse around everywhere with you

Yup. Unless you consider my 77 yr old father-in-law a baby boomer. He bought a deVille a few years ago. Besides you have a ringside seat to see who's buying deVilles. Is it true 75% of DeVille buyers ask you for the AARP discount?
I'd personally like to demo an XLR but it ain't on your list.
I love the DeVille. Looks like it's carved from a single chunk of metal. Glad you got to see the Tommy Kendall flogging of the SRX - I think it runs high 14's.
I dunno, other than the FWD V8, I really dig the styling of the Seville or STS or whatever they call it now, I wish they'd just give it a slight redesign with a slightly longer hood and wider wheel base and put the Northstar in it the way it should be.

Hehe, I have not yet encountered the AARP discount. What is it supposed to be?
I would also like to demo an XLR, but I don't think that anyone will get one of those as a demo. Maybe the dealer principal, but it's not even released yet. I'm waiting personally for the CTS-V, but that's supposed to be limited production.
I turned a 16.4 at 83mph last weekend in the 240. I cleaned out the intake and throttle body with carb cleaner and removed the air silencer and the above time is down from a 17.3 at 76mph. Not bad for 198k stock single-cam! :ylsuper
i agree, the deville looks like my choice,,,,,BUT,,,,my second choice. the only REAL caddy to consider is the 1969 deville convertible (can almost see that smile on your face right now hitman!!!).
