Either G37 or M37 should sound about the same. You have a 5.6, so if you don't find a vid, listen tot the 3.7 models and imagine it even deeper and better!
I found these for a Q50 with the 3.7 engine:

I did copy your setup too lol i loved your videos now im just waiting for 2.5in xpipe arriving tomorrow this is what it sound like nowarmybrat wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2017 5:49 amI also have the sport mufflers but I replaced everything from the manifolds back with a 2-1/2" X-pipe set up. so it's definitely louder than if you just swapped the mufflers. I like it. I put this on YouTube a while back, GoPro mounted under the rear bumper between the mufflers...a pretty good representation of sound. Cruise through the neighborhood, turned on to a back road and WOT to start with...passed a cop LOL. You can hear the transmission downshift before slowing down. Then I turned around and headed back, WOT got a little tire squeal. This was before I got the Uprev tune. Very nice rumble but not obnoxious. (IMHO) LIke any other performance straight through muffler, gets folks attention when you step on it, but powerfully subtle when just cruising.
Yes, it is a little quieter. At times I wish it were as loud as his, but overall I'm happy with my setup.
Hey that sounds great - Attesa won't let me burnoutAminalmo wrote: ↑Wed Jul 26, 2017 8:49 pmI did copy your setup too lol i loved your videos now im just waiting for 2.5in xpipe arriving tomorrow this is what it sound like now

That sounds really mean, really like it. I think i might actually be better served to have mine a little quieter, so maybe JUST the sports exhaust package would be best for me.armybrat wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2017 5:49 amI also have the sport mufflers but I replaced everything from the manifolds back with a 2-1/2" X-pipe set up. so it's definitely louder than if you just swapped the mufflers. I have a Black on Black M56S but no Aero kit. I have thought of adding it since I need a front fascia anyway.knelson wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2017 6:50 am
I was in my wife's car (2012 QX56) with the family yesterday when I randomly spotted a black M56 S with aero kit and custom rims, and custom exhaust. No hoke I pulled in behind him when he turned into a movie theatre. I might have scared him to death but I pulled up and waited until he got out and then started talking to him. He's a fellow NicoClub member and we talked for 20 mins about he fact that our cars are so similar. His exhaust sounds nice. We are now getting together soon to check out both our rides... maybe start a local M club... haha. I thought I might own one of the only black M56 S with aero kit in the Dallas area until seeing him. He said he thought the same thing. Pretty random.
DFW2011M56S, we should get together to check out our rides. You can PM here and we can exchange phone numbers so maybe we can get together. I would love to see what you've done, exchange ideas, etc. I'm in the grapevine area. We'd have three black M56's all together, ha.DFW2011M56S wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2017 2:38 pmI have a Black on Black M56S but no Aero kit. My claim to fame is I probably have the loudest M56S in DFW.
I need to hear your M growl in person!!! I bet it sounds sweet. It'll sound like a grown up next to my stock exhaust. I need to get mine swapped out soon.DFW2011M56S wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2017 2:38 pmI have a Black on Black M56S but no Aero kit. There's something to be said about hearing it in person. Videos don't really give you a true sense of how the car really sounds. You can get a general idea but most of the time you pick up background noise and other ambient sounds as well.
No, the HP gain is pretty negligible, for a car already making 420 HP. You won't feel it.knelson wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2017 1:52 pmI'm curious if there a hp gain with changing to the infiniti motor sports exhaust kit.
And is it's installation fairly simple? It also claims to all be bolt on, I'm wondering if it's that easy.
Lastly, after installation do I need to get it tuned to tweak the timing?
Thanks for any info.

Yes it's DIY, pretty easy; simply unbolt your factory mufflers at the flange and slide them off of the hanger bushing, or unbolt the hanger itself. Don't even have to jack up your car unless you just want the extra room to work. Instructions call for reusing the old gaskets, but you can replace them if you want. I found it was easier to unbolt the hangers from the frame, then it was easy to slide the bushings off of the old mufflers that way. Then just slide them on the new mufflers and install. The sport mufflers are much lighter than the factory ones. I was able to install them without help, but you might need a floor jack to help hold the muffler in place until you can get a bolt started. The tips are adjustable so once you finish you can loosen the tips and rotate/telescope to your satisfaction.
Unless you do a full custom exhaust, no tune is necessary with just a muffler swap.
