You'll want 16's to avoid brake clearance issues.

Q rims are 5x114.3mm (or 5x4.5)... I think offset is around 40mm (?).

How wide can we go? 8" - 8.5" ????

Im looking at 18 x 8-8.5 .....

Perhaps width and load rating limitations are the reason I see so few Q's with after market wheels - besides the tried and true zillion dollar BBS spokers?

8.5 is a nice fit (300ZXtt rears all the way around is the "holy grail" of Q rim swaps). :D

Be sure you test the wheels before you buy as out of 4 I purchased 2 are out of round [both right sides] and will cost $140 each to straighten...........still that works out to less than $150 each vs $250 to $350 per wheel.

Nope - I'm running 99 chrome alloys. Any factory rim is gonna be better than an aftermarket rim (for the money).

Discount Tire uses a Hunter 9700 which is THE machine for testing al aspects of wheel roundness, baance, and tire road force.

What I think would look really sharp is a set of stock 94 Q rims chromed.......

And, as per-se Grant@tirerack, he said that he wouldnt recommend anything higher than 17s on the Q, because the tires wont have the sidewall to cushin impacts, resulting in a bad ride/handling, and they will bend easy.....

I have a set in my garage - Make me an offer! They're chrome with metallic gold in the "slots." They were on "Q2" when I bought it - apparently the dealership installed them on her before delivery to her original owner.
