MONACO – This is the 61st grand prix of the Formula One era at this iconic race circuit. Glamorous, thrilling and unlike any other race on the calendar, the Monaco Grand Prix is without-a-doubt one of the most fascinating. The tight streets of the Principality, the low-speed nature of the track and the closeness of the barriers all add to what should be an exciting race on Sunday.
In today's first free practice session Daniel finished in P3 completing 36 laps with a best time of 1:18.506. Sebastian ended the session in P5 with a best time of 1:19.043 after completing 32 laps – Lewis Hamilton topped the time sheets with a time of 1:18.271.
After this afternoon's second free practice session, Sebastian finished in P3 with a best time of 1:19.017, and Daniel ended the session in P9 with a best time of 1:19.779. Fernando Alonso topped the time sheets with a time of 1:18.482.
