"Infiniti today was named the highest ranked nameplate in J.D. Power and Associates 2003 Customer Service Index (CSI) Study with a score of 900. It was the third time in its history that Infiniti has topped the well-known independent study that measures customer satisfaction with dealer service during the first three years of vehicle ownership. Infiniti finished second in last year's report. The 2003 study is based on responses from more than 105,000 new-vehicle owners and lessees.""In announcing Infiniti as the top nameplate in satisfying its customers' service and maintenance needs, J.D. Power and Associates noted that Infiniti received the highest ranking in repairs, and had the highest marks for the service quality, service advisor and service delivery repair measures."Awesome job for Infiniti!!

I smile for Infiniti, laugh for Lexus, and say "WHAT?" for Saturn.

Customer service and good sales people are what saved Saturn's *** when GM neglected the brand in the mid to late 90s. People go back because they get treated like royalty, even though theyre only buying a $16k car. A little kindness, smart people, good service, and free doughnuts go a long way.

Jesda makes a good point. While I would never own a Saturn, my girlfriend has a 2001 L-series and loves it. I went with her yesterday to go pick it up from the dealership and they do treat her like royalty. My only problem is that their SA's are not very knowledgeable, but it's like i was telling my girlfriend...the majority of people that buy Saturn's are not car experts by any means. They just want their s*** fixed. Overall, Saturn gets my vote for good customer service for the Average Joe...but Infiniti gets my vote for best overall customer service for all levels of knowledge.

My local dealer, Infiniti of Dublin, offered free oil changes contingent upon a 100% score on this survey from me. They even sent a photocopy of the survey filled in with "strongly agree" for all ten questions. As I look at my service records, this has been going on since 1995. Most of my invoices have a bright red or gold sticker on each that says "IMPORTANT You will receive a survey shortly." The dealer sends a letter saying "If you can not reply STRONGLY AGREE to all ten questions, please contact me personally so that I may resolve any difficulties..." The dealer then makes it clear that I will only get my free oil change with a perfect satisfaction survey.

This makes me wonder about the integrity of the data, and how widespread this practice may be. Have you ever recieved any perks for giving the dealer a perfect score???
