Infiniti Qx4 won't start or get power

Hey Guys!

This is my first post on the forum and I really hope ya'll can help me. I have a 1997 Infiniti Qx4 that I used to drive frequently but have recently only been driving it every couple of days. Today I tried to crank it up and it won't start. I tried to jump it off and it still didn't start, but my horn started blowing like my alarm was going off. My battery is just over a year old so I don't think it's my battery. Also, my power locks aren't working along with any of the dash lights. The little blinking LED that usually blinks red all the time isn't blinking at all either. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be going on? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated...thanks so much : )

check your connections at the battery.

Sounds like alarm system is engaged shutting off starter circuits or battery is low or starter has worn brushes and unable to start.

The inhibitor on transmission will also stop starter

Look at electrical, starter section of manual
