Infiniti QX4 Headlight Upgrade Question

What up everyone in Nico Club!

I'm new to the club and recently purchased an '99 Infiniti QX4.

Before I bought it I noticed that he had a cracked driver side headlight, nothing major. But now I'm on the search to get it replaced. The question I wanted to ask deals with compatibility: Would I be able to replace the headlight on my '99 with any of the newer style QX4 headlights (HID '01 and up)??

97-00 will fit (the headlight was cleared out more in 99.5 and 00). 01 + will require a new grille and trim pieces at the very least to make it work. I believe the hood and fenders are exactly the same. You MAY also need the front bumper (I'd lean more towards "probably"). Even then, I don't know because I don't know anyone who has tried it.

BTW -- You have a 99.5 if the fueler door release isn't a lever on the floor, but rather a button on the door, and if you don't have the 4wd lever on the floor, but just the all-mode knob. . there are a bunch of little changes other than those).

i once saw a 96 pathfinder with a 2000 front end conversion. something about it just didnt look to great.
