Long story short, I went to the Salvage Yard last weekend and found a wrecked QX4 and I bought these Foglight Projectors off of them and I wanted to retrofit them into my Q45 Foglights. They look perfect and fit snug into the foglight.Bake. Pry. Seal. I took my time with these so, it took me half a day. Projects just right. No adjustments. I'll take some night time pics when I have the chance. She's been dying for a drop..Enjoy!

They look good, anxious for a night pick. What kind of rims are those?

It makes no sense to put a projector{which is focused by design to produce a beam correct for fog application} BEHIND a lense fluted to produce a beam focused for fog application........kind of like wearing one set of corrective eyeglaseses over top another pair of corrective lenses.

But if fashion is ones goal at the expense of function, they sure fit right in with the blue headlights.

18" G35 Coupe wheels. The tires are staggered which I plan to replace them all to one size tires. Thats why there is a lot of gap on the front. BTW, would anyone know what siaze tires I should run since I want them all one size? The fronts are 225/45/18's and the back are 245/45/18. Thanks again.

qship96..that is true, If only I could find Clear glass foglights, but you know how hard its to find/make for these cars, but mainly I am going for looks.

Blue halogen looks really wierd and dim too, I bet.

Why not just use a yellow tinted H3 in the fog lamp? I think they are made.

haha. those arent halogens...they are 8000K HIDs. Sorry I took pictures in the day and thats why they look like that..I put the yellow bulbs, but after a while the yellow started to fade...plus, why do that when you go on a random day to the salvage yard and buy some foglights for $15 bucks and do a retrofit? haha.

As far as I know the FGY33 never came with projector headlights, so why only do the fog lights?

Either all projector sty or none.

but I never saw the use of projector style this and that, You don't see projector turn signals or tail lights.

I also think its strange to put a projector behind a lens like that. Otherwise, I think your Q looks great.

Hey you are in OKC. I'm located in Tulsa...I just send you a email. Like what Paul Wall said, it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks of your car. It's your car, your money so you enjoy.

Looks good! I'm looking at putting the 4300k kit in my car. Qship, the cops don't pull people over here for kits.
