Infiniti Q45 slip light

I have Infiniti Q45 1995. Recently slip light came couple of times. I happened when I was trying to take off after stopping at stop light. The light came on and car seemed to get into the fail-safe mode (engine was running but car was not moving at all). I had to restart the car and the light went off and the car operates normally after that.

Any idea what it could be?

The slip light is designed to inform the driver when traction is compromised (it usually flashes). If the light comes on and stays on or comes on in conjunction with the either the ABS and or TCS lights you should have it professionally evaluated as almost all of the system components are expensive.
