I was smelling gas a couple of times while my car was running and sitting still. It would only happen once in a while. I have not smelt it in a while. Now it is running rough. It sputters at take off and all while I am driving. Could some one help me diagnos this problem? It is a 1993 Q45

Gas leak. Check your fuel line hoses. Look under the plenum to see if you have any puddles of gas or other liquids.

Look at the fuel rail, maybe?

also do a search on "gas smell" or something similar.
