I sold my forged BBS 15" rims to QShip for $200.

There's a guy in my neck of the woods who is selling some Q doors on Ebay...... i sent him an e-mail offering to buy the ones sitting on his junk yard car.... my opening offer was 100 dollars....

I havent' even seen them.... I am sure as a member...yours were in real good shape.... I have lived with the Pie-Pan look for too long.... I would like the last two or so years with this car to have an updated look...

....but I am a very patient man.

nat - I'd say if you're gonna upgrade, go 16" factory Q rims.

Stronger, not much heavier, and far less likely to get damaged.

Plus, there's MANY more options for tires in the 16" size.

I appreciate the thought..... I know I should do the 16"....but then it would involve new tires, too...

I couldn't do the deed late last year when I needed new tires..

I am not one of those WOT guys... I drive my kid to school in the car and then on to work...

I've made a decision to hold on to the car...and did upper links and blues in in the past 6 months.... then I got Bose to rebuild all of the speakers/amps.... I just want to update the wheels.

I don't want to put any serious money into the car.... I won't get the guides done.... 152k on a 90Q...I guess I gamble each time I start the car up.

So, if anything major goes...it will be a new Altima, Jetta, or a 97/98Q. Guess what I would be leaning towards?

The 90's been a great ride for the last 10 years.

I really enjoy this forum...

Yes, indeed! :) My boss drives a 1993 Q45a and is babying it for now too. He keeps the rpm's below 2500 all the time. He just had all his Adaptive suspension stuff re-done at very low cost (argued with Infiniti and won). I have already told him I am interested in buying it if he decides to sell, but not if the engine guides die!

If I do not get the G35 for me, then I plan to spend some money getting my current 1995 Q45 up to snuff.

I feel like eBay should pay me for advertising.

Give it a shot. I sold my stock rims AND tires for $50.00 (Not a great deal) but I got a complete set ob Bridgestones for my new wheels for $80.00 They weren't new, but I got 20,000 miles out of them.
