Does anyone know the name of the actual manufacturer of the OEM shocks for a Y34 (2003 Infiniti M45)?

I have 65k on the car, want to change the shocks, and I want to know/research the available options before I do anything.

I would bet KYB like the FGY33. Same suspension design.

Unfortunately, no. It is not KYB. At least, their parts catalog does not have anything listed for the 2003 or 2004 M45.

Any other possibilities I should explore?

Neither for the FGY33. You have to go JDM. Go to the home Japanese website or talk to OneTonGarage.

Ah ... I will look in their Japanese catalog and see if anything is listed there.

With all this effort though, I may as well just go OEM - just get it from Joe Tsensky.

I have to say the KYB SR Specials are even better than the Tokico Blues.

Great at dampening unwanted oscillations.

Which car do you have them on?

So far, I have not found any Japanese source either. Will check with OneTonGarage ...

FGY33. Virtually identical suspension design. No luck on KYB Japan?

Well, I looked. The problem may be the Y34 with the VK45DE was a uniquely US model.

For the FGY33 KYB SR Front are NSC6004 and rear are NSG9069. Abouot 45,590 Yen for all 4.

NEW SR SPECIAL, is a shock to traditional sports tend to feel uncomfortable lumpy muted as possible And the travel-cheap as possible. Domestic models set up NO.1, satisfaction is 100%. Surprisingly comfortable ride and lower travel - Is compatible with high levels of shock absorbers.

Damping force characteristics NEW SR SPECIAL 115% If 100% pure "NEW SR SPECIAL" side has increased 125% / 115% contraction side

There is also a Super Special for street. I think they are stiffer.

SUPER SPECIAL FOR STREET, is a four-stage damping force both before and after adjustment functions. The Street To adapt to all situations. Tuning the meaning of the fun when you know that the best match. Street can set up your own.

Damping force characteristics SUPER SPECIAL FOR STREET If 100% pure, is SUPER SPECIAL FOR STREET, 100~150% 105~135% Shrink from 100 to 150 percent increase in the side 105 to 135%

They run 78,960 Yen.

For the UY33 Gloria the Front are NSC6004 and the Rear are NSG9069, so they are the same there.

Now is anyone knows which brand of suspension can fit to Y34? I am still looking for a set for my Y34. Unfortunately, I still have no idea how to lower my car. Hopes someone can help.Thanks.
