but the stock tires (Michelin) were the worst POS I've ever driven on... ok when dry but they might as well be slicks when there's any water / snow on the pavement.

The Goodyear Eagle RS-A were much worse, surprising enough!

I strongly recommend changing the tires out for way better ones. Check out my Basic Spec sticky at the top of the forum for some tire listings.

Currently, I am using the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 with excellent results ... including in very wet weather. These are NOT snow tires though!

Anyone seen a golden sand for 2003 and desert platinum for 2004? They're pretty rare. How about a list of exterior color options from most common to least common.

The color options are listed in the Basic Specs sticky ... but I do not know which were the most common and which were the next, etc.

But I do think that Brilliant Silver was probably a very common one, certainly among the most common!

I got Nokian WR's... great in the snow, ok in the dry, slightly louder than the Michelin's but considering the car was stuck in a garage for 2 mo because of the OEM rubber I can deal with it. The fact that I can run them year round is a plus...

they were a little pricey but still a lot less than an insurance deductible for sliding off the road...
