I have a 2003 Infiniti m45. My problem is my car overheats when I'm at a stop and go type idea! When I'm driving good it doesn't overheat but when I'm at a stop and go,it over heats pretty good ! And also the fan doesn't seem to want to run so I'm wondering if the fan is bad or the temperature sender or sensor has went bad ? What can it be?

Welcome to the forum. You're ideas are good, I'd start with checking the fan relay, etc. Make sure there is no air in the system either.

Hello, quick questions off the bat. How long have you had the car and how long has it been doing this for?
Any change with weather?

As for things to check for, the fan bearings might be on the way out or even seized. With the car off, spin the blades and listen out for any noises.

Also, something simple for the Y34 is to check the level of fluid in that canister that looks like a power steering reservoir on the driver's side.
That feeds your hydraulic clutch.

There's a newspaper test that's done to partially obstruct the blades and if you successfully stop the fan, the clutch might be bad, but if the dang thing doesn't even run, then this isn't very helpful.
Is there any change when you turn the AC on?

No electric power, just the fluid.
If you cant even move it either direction by hand, seized bearings? Any other objects jammed in there?
