Infiniti M35x Stereo Amplifier

Hey, I was just curious to know if there is a point on buying a brand new stereo amplifier which would cost about $1,300.00 at the Infiniti Dealership parts and labor for my Infiniti M35 of should I just buy one on Ebay which cost about $150.00 - $300.00 for the stereo amplifier, plus $110.00 to install in my car.
Im just worried that if I buy one from Ebay or online, it might have a malfunction (brake in other words) few years ahead?

I just bought an Infiniti M35x 2006 fully loaded, like brand new other then my stereo amplifier, please feel free to let me know on you think.

It's my understanding that the amplifier the car came with is quite tricky to replace. If you buy one on Ebay, I would worry that it may not be compatible with your car, may not be in the best condition, or might be missing programming or connectors that the car requires.
I know that other members have tweeked or replaced parts of the stereo so perhaps one of them will respond with more details.

I would of course buy a Stereo Amplifier that would be compatible with mine. I would buy on Ebay an amplifier that would of came from another Infiniti M35 and I would make sure that Infiniti Dealership installs it for me, they would also tell me if I am buying the correct amplifier since I would of course get them to look at amplifier before I would be it. If you are getting a used OEM unit on EBay, that's fine. Just have them double check, and pay labor. Definitely don't buy it FROM Infiniti. Junk yard/ebay is fine.

definitely buy original not aftermarket. Our amplifiers are CAN bus driven so they have many functions that would not work with a standard aftermarket amp. If you wanted to add amplifiers and better speakers then you'll need to add Hi-Lo converters at each speaker output from the amplifier then add the amps and speakers.

Like I said in my previous post, I will be buying An Original stock 2006 - 2009 Infiniti stereo/Amplifer. Nothing will be aftermarket, only stock.
My question was that is there a point in buying a stock Infiniti Amplifier from the Infiniti Dealership which will charge me $1,300.00 cost and labor.
Or should I just buy the same original stock Infiniti Amplifier Online Ebay for $175.00 - $250.00 for the Amplifier itself and $100.00 labor to install the part on to my M35. Only difference is that it is in used condition. Don't know how good of condition it is. Once again I will be buying a compatible one

Seems the worst that can happen is you will pay about $300 and find out the Ebay amp doesn't perform. Personally, I think it's worth the risk to save over $1000 on a new amp. Plus, if Ebay gives you a guaranty, you could get the purchase price refunded.
I assume the amp will come with the wiring harnesses intact so installation shouldn't that difficult aside from getting to it.

On Ebay I have seen a few that have the wiring harness intact, but other ones don't which of course are cheaper. Once again thanks for your comments.
